Nick Lakey

Vice President of Projects Manager

Nick Lakey started at Gentzler as a helper in the field. He quickly moved through the ranks becoming a lead foreman, service technician, and project manager and now oversees Gentzler’s special projects division.

A DFW native and growing up as a son of an electrician, Nick learned value of business, work ethic and safety early on. Nick met Stan Gentzler and was one of the first official hires of Gentzler Electric. Nick has helped to create the relationship driven culture that Gentzler has within its walls and with its customers and clients. “Relationships and quality of work is what we excel at and take to a much higher standard than most in our industry. We also take great care of our people and their families”.

Through commitment to quality, safety and efficiency Nick knows Gentzler is positioned for continued success now, and in the future.

Nick has two kids and is an avid hunter. He spends much of his off-work time involved in club baseball and softball travel, and training with his kids. He also enjoys outdoors and hunting when time allows.
